About our Bottesford Setting
We started Little Toes Day Nursery West Bridgford in February 2017, starting out as a Creche service providing short sessional childcare for the nearby health facilities before becoming Ofsted registered in August 2017. Little Toes Clifton came later in January 2019 situated in central Clifton in the Old Police Station building with original fixtures and fittings including the old police cell!
Every member of the Little Toes family continuously works to improve our facilities and ensure that we are always following the latest and most up-to-date industry practises. Our team is here to help your child develop the necessary life skills and self-confidence that will help them enter further education with ease and confidence.
Some of the aspects that make our facility unique include:
- Large base rooms with small groups of children.
- Our curriculum is always based on each childs interest at the time to fully engage them in the learning experience
- Daily walks allow us to teach children road safety and how to keep themselves safe, gardening at forest school, baking.
Our Commitment To Safety
Here at Little Toes Day Nursery, we take the safety of everyone seriously. We have put protective measures in place throughout our nursery. Now, more than ever, maintaining a safe, clean, secure facility is vital. We have been committed to this cause from day one, and we are fully transparent so that parents can check in at any time.
Cleanliness Protocol
We use dettol antibacterial spray to maintain an environment that stops the spread of germs. We also teach good hygiene, including diligent handwashing.
Security
We strictly limit access to our facility to authorised personnel and parents and family members who have express permission to be here. Your child’s safety is our top priority.
Transparency
We understand that you’re probably wondering what your child is up to when they’re not with you. That’s why we allow parents to check in using our messenger service on Blosso, and by sending photos and videos home daily as well as daily diaries also via Blosso.

Staff Recruitment
Our team knows that their number one priority is to ensure your child feels safe, secure and supported. We take pride in ensuring we treat each child as an individual and help them to develop at their own pace. A low student to teacher ratio helps us focus on providing individualized attention for your child.
Our team are all qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. We continually invest in them and provide opportunities to further their knowledge and development to keep them up to date with the latest developments in childcare.
